Euguélionne
Dance & video work
Euguélionne: the body of possible is a dance and video work inspired by the novel of the same title by Louky Bersianik, a French Canadian Novelist. This novel recommends women to explore a new language where gender constraints no longer exist and to find an alternative to binary relationships (man/woman, nature/technology) in language and expression. The project explored such a new language in visual and kineasthetic meetings with dancers and choreographed camera movement in gravity free environments. We researched ways to process, edit and assemble the video and movement in non-linear narratives.
