Trajets

Installation, 2007

trajets” is a choreographic installation where kinaesthetic relationships are manifested as a dynamic of publics’ bodies, dancing screens and moving images. As the public wanders in this moving architecture of 400m2 their physical presence and position is detected by sensors.

The choreography is participatory as the screens and visiting public together alter patterns in the installation space and affect the screens’ direction, velocity and rotation. As the screens rotate the room’s fluid architecture shifts and the public and screens become “dancers”
