Speakers in Sneakers

Sound installation, 2025/26

In preparation for a public performance at the Centre National Chorégraphique CCN2 Grenoble 2025-2026.

The sound installation “PerformaPhone P&D: Speakers in Sneakers” brings together a collection of 24 interviews of non‑professional dancers who danced in the participatory choreography by Aina Alegre entitled “Parades & Désobéissances” at the Palais des sports, Grenoble in June 2024.

During the original performance the feet stomped, in the installation sneakers speak, telling the stories of how the experience of dancing in this work with 100 volunteer dancers affected their kinaesthetic sensibility.

This project developed within the context of the Ecouter le terrain project and the Performance lab is financed the Ministère de la culture-Accord Cadre CNRS -Litt&Arts co directed with Severine Ruset and Listening to Performance, IDEX co directed with Nathalie Henrich Bernardoni.
